September 2013 Challenge #1 - No-Line coloring
« on: September 02, 2013, 08:48:14 PM »
I've been playing my Spectrum Noir pens using the no-line coloring technique, so that's what the first challenge for September will be.
You can use any type of pen or colored pencil for this technique.

This challenge will be open until Midnight, September 30, 2013.

Here are a couple examples.

Here's my card made with a no-line image:

Oh WOW is all I can say for this technique. Another way to use the old light box. I have never tried this before but looks interesting. If I do one that I like I'll try to post it after practicing, LOL
Have a great day.

Wow Norma, Yours looks like a really pretty water color, as you know I love water coloring. I tried this technique in the past but not with good results, I did not use a light box but stamped embossed with clear embossing powder so now I'll get out the old light box and try it that way. I'm also going to try with the various markers I have to see which gives me the best results.

Thank  You  ,  I was   pleased  with it  myself,  but  it  was   hard to use the  light   box, as  my over  head  light   kept making me  have to  look  at the   stamped image,  so  this  one  got to  be a little more   hands on  then  it   should.  I   colored  in the  original too  and it  turned  out  even  better  with   brighter   colors. This is  a   cool  technique and I  can  see   you  can use  a  lot of  different images  with it. I think  I will  do one with  less things  in  the   next   try.....

Thanks   Judy  for the  inspiration

Raz, it works best if you add it to your gallery album, then you can copy the thumbnail code and paste it here.  The gallery does the resizing for you.

Razzy  I was  playing  around  and thought I would  see if I  could  post  your  picture  for  you.  Yipeeeee  I  did it, I think Judy   has  a  help  page that  tells  how to  do  this.
I  went to  your   Gallery  page and  highlighted  the  ural that  said  thumbnail  image and  copied it,  Then I  came  back here ,clicked on the  little  globe with the   letter, it is  a  hyper link and  in between  the   brackets  that  are   blinking  I pasted the   ural.  that  should  add  your  picture   here  when you post......Try it  and I will  delete mine since  I managed to  do  it  twice..........

Great   job  Razzy   I love your  card  too. so  cute,  would make  any   one  smile.........
