bling protection
« on: January 15, 2014, 10:09:24 PM »
I know one of the tricks for sending out cards with bling & thick embellies, is to turn the card inside out. Sometimes this isn't enough. I find that adding cush or additional cardboard inside and some packing tape to both sides of the envelope where the bling is sticking out will protect the card from losing or breaking the bling.

I don't care to turn the card inside out to keep bling from putting holes in the envelope, it damages the inside of the card. I like to put thing card board (cut up cereal box works well) and add packaging tape over the bling area. Also the thicker wallpaper envelopes work better for cards with metal or bling.

Thank  Rita,  i  tried  the  tape  on  a  seperate   piece  of   C/S and  I  guess it  worked  well  since  I  got  no  complants......and  I  have  used  your box c/s  too  Carrie,  so  both  are  great  ideas.......
