Title: Peach Cake ... (very good)

I had forgotten this recipe until I was peeling some peaches for the freezer. Since peaches are ripe now, thought some of you may wish to try this very easy, very tasty recipe. Actually the recipe calls for canned peaches but thought I'd use fresh this time and OH MY.. it's good.    I've had this recipe since 1983. I write who gave me the recipe, and the date when I find a favorite to keep.
        Peach cake
 2 cups flour
 2 cups sugar
 2 tsp baking soda
 2 eggs
    Mix above ingredients , then add the peaches. mix well with a spoon. Batter will be very thick.
             Large can of peaches, drained and chopped.(or fresh peaches)
 Pour into a well greased 9x13 baking pan.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or till tests done.

    ICING : cook while cake is baking and ice while still hot.
1 stick of margarine or butter
3/4 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup sugar
Cook on  low until thickened .. add 1 tsp vanilla ( nuts and coconut if desired)
